For stable conditions and at the discretion of your doctor it may be possible to request every second prescription online or by phone. Any arrangement for repeat prescriptions is done on an individual basis and may be changed at any time for your safety. We recommend that you plan ahead to ensure your medication requirements do not run out.
Your name, date of birth and mobile number MUST match the details we hold, or your attempt will be unsuccessful.
Prescriptions will take THREE working days to process. You must have seen the doctor in the last 6 months to discuss this medication and have NO outstanding accounts. You will be sent a text message to let you know when your prescription is ready.
THERE IS A CHARGE OF $25 ($18.50 WITH Community Services Card) FOR ALL ONLINE OR PHONE PRESCRIPTIONS
Please be aware that some new medications require you to be seen again after three months for review effectiveness. It is a requirement of the NZ Medical Council that all patients receiving prescriptions are reviewed on a regular basis.
We do not fax prescriptions to pharmacies. You must collect either from our front desk or from the Unichem Rolleston Central Pharmacy next door to us.
Please clearly itemize your medications required. If you wish to see your long term medications for easier ordering, you can come into the medical centre and complete a form (including showing ID). This will enable you to have the higher access required to see these. Alternatively you can download and print the form here and bring it in with photo ID.
