It's the start of school holidays and so that means its also sickness time!
Just a reminder we always have a number of same-day triage appointments reserved for patients who need those services. To book those you will need to call and go onto our nurse call back log for a nurse triage call. This is the only way same-day appointments are usually given out as it's essential we carry out fair and reasonable triage over the phone before booking these appointments.
If we are unable to book you a same-day appointment then we will offer you an appointment with your clinician at the next available time. This can vary by clinician but our staff will always do their best with the resources we have, the whole of NZ is under pressure and under staffed in terms of health care and we ask all patients to bare with us and plan accordingly where they can.
We know that sometimes it's tough to see your clinician, we're working on making it easier and hope to have more clinical staff available over the course of the year. Keep an eye on our fb and website for updates.
